Delete your Propple account
You can delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us. Deletion is permanent.
From the app (fastest)
- Open Propple and go to Account (the last tab).
- Scroll to Your data and tap Delete my account.
- Read what will be removed, then tap Yes, delete my account.
- Enter the one-time code we send to your phone number. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email support@propple.in from any address with the subject Delete my account and the mobile number you registered with. We will send a one-time code to that number to confirm it is you, and delete the account within 7 days of confirmation.
What is deleted
- Your name, phone number and sign-in sessions on every device
- Your profile, skills, rates, work areas and availability
- Your profile photo, voice introduction and any verification documents
- Your Aadhaar verification status and the reference token from the verification provider
- Saved places and notification settings
- Your free public worker page, which stops working immediately
- Any open job posts you created, which are closed
What is kept, and why
- Chats and job history with other people stay visible to them, but without your name, number or photo. They appear as "Deleted user".
- Ratings you gave stay on the other person's profile without your identity.
- Payment records for credit packs or verification fees are kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law, linked to an anonymised account identifier only.
- Reports and safety actions involving your account are kept for as long as needed to protect other users.
After deletion
Your mobile number can be used to sign up again, as a brand-new account. Nothing from the deleted account is restored.
